Commissioned by Zealandia EcoSanctuary founder Jim Lynch, and used for the cover art for his book about Zealandia’s early history. Zealandia is an audacious 500-year project aiming to restore an inner-city valley (formally a reservoir) to a pre-human ecosystem. The reintroduction of kākā parrots to Wellington City is one of the biggest success stories of this project.
This fine-art print was created by Wellington photo-artist and Zealandia volunteer, Judi Lapsley Miller. Each archival Giclee print is hand-signed and editioned by the artist. Medium to X-Large prints come with a certificate of authenticity.
Sales of fine-art prints include a 10% personal donation from the artist to Zealandia EcoSanctuary.
