Aotearoa Aeternum - Extinct Birds Hoodie

This epic design depicts thirteen extinct Aotearoa native birds, complete with primary names in Te Reo, and secondary names in English and Latin. These special birds may be gone, but Aotearoa in Aeternum. We can do better for the birds we have remaining.

Birds included: Huia, Ngutu Hahau (South Island Adzebill), Moho (North Island Takahē), Tutukiwi (South Island Snipe), Kororā (Wilson's Little Penguin), Miuweka (Auckland Island Merganser), Ruru Hinapō (New Zealand Owlet-Nightjar), New Zealand Raven, Pouākai (Haast's Eagle), Whēkau (Laughing Owl), Kērangi (Eyles' Harrier), Moa Nunui (South Island Giant Moa), Poūwa (New Zealand Swan)

Please note: different names are used to describe some of these species depending on who you ask, great care was taken in researching to select the most commonly used/accurate names.
