Apostle Orange and Horopito Shichimi

Apostle Hot Sauce is the creation of Lydia and Mat, from Paekākāriki, Wellington. They have a passion for local ingredients and refuse to use any artificial colours, preservatives, flavours or thickeners. Instead, they rely on fresh ingredients to create their vibrant range of sauces and seasonings. 

The Orange and Horopito Shichimi is a bold twist on a Japanese shichimi togarashi with toasted sesame, New Zealand hemp, zesty citrus and peppery horopito. Nutty, citrusy, and warming – the perfect seasoning for fish, dumplings, soups, or avocado on toast.

Ingredients

Toasted sesame, hemp hearts, chilli, szechuan peppercorns, orange (5%), horopito (4%), ginger, kelp, salt, lime. Contains sesame.
