Mussel Ceramic Bowl 8cm

From Wellington-based designer Jo Luping, these porcelain bowls are part of the "Mussel Collection". The Mussel Collection series features a textural relief design with a clear glaze inside and outside.  Each bowl features irregularities in both shape and form; this is part of the organic nature of the collection. 

Known in Māori as kuku and kūtai, the New Zealand Mussel is representative of the inspiration that Jo draws from living by the sea.
