Pūkeko Soft Toy With Sound 15cm

The Pūkeko Soft Toy With Sound is an adorable plush version of New Zealand’s native pūkeko bird. Give it a squeeze to hear a recording of a real Pūkeko.

Not to be confused with the much rarer Takahē, Pūkeko are often seen along marshy roadsides and low-lying open country. The bird has adapted well to grassy paddocks, croplands and even parks, necessary new habitats brought about by disappearing wetlands.

This children’s toy includes all of the bird’s iconic features such as its distinctive blue feathers and red legs and bill. It makes a lovely gift for tamariki.

Measures approximately 15cm tall.
