Eileen Mayo's Rare and Endangered Birds of Aotearoa

Step back in time with this masterfully reproduced collection of 30 paintings showcasing Aotearoa New Zealand's native manu (birds). Artist Eileen Mayo captured the hearts and minds of young New Zealanders when this collection was first unveiled in 1976, with each picture being accompanied by short texts written by marine biologist Marie Darby and zoologist + conservationist John Darby. These texts have been updated for this reproduction, helping to breathe fresh life into this taonga.

Published by Christchurch Art Gallery Te Pune o Waiwhetū, the posters are printed on quality art card and are designed to be lifted from the binding.
