Tumbleweed Kids' Tee - Takahē (Grey Marle)
Tumbleweed Kids' Tee - Takahē (Grey Marle)
Tumbleweed create original designs, representing a broad spectrum of NZ’s biodiversity, on ethical, low impact products. They are low waste and anti ‘fast fashion’. With a range of conservation partnerships and funding innovation they help to celebrate and protect the nature that inspires them. With a background in biology and geology, they have turned their understanding and love of the natural world into a t-shirt business.
Each grey marle Tumbleweed kids’ t-shirt is hand-printed, using water based inks, onto mid-weight, 85% combed cotton,15% viscose. They are pre-shrunk to minimise shrinkage.
All of Tumbleweed's design and print work is done by them, in house - from rough sketches through to finished art work, transferring the art to silk screens and printing.
As a general rule Tumbleweed recommend the following care for their garments:
• machine wash cold with like colours
• avoid bleach
• line dry in the shade if possible
• do not dry clean
• our prints are fine to iron over (as they are heat cured)
• designs can fade over time, and fading is hastened by frequent hot washes.
