The Hoiho/Yellow Eye Penguin Soft Toy With Sound is an adorable plush version of one of New Zealand’s native penguins. Unique to New Zealand, the hoiho, or yellow-eyed penguin, is thought to be one of the world's rarest penguin species. Over the past 20 years, the northern population has declined by 65%, with only 265 breeding pairs left, while the status of the southern population is not well documented.
